Longhorn volleyball is Hot

University of Texas at Austin women's volleyball team reach 1,000 victories.

One night after suffering their first loss of the season, the lady Longhorns scored the programs 1,000th victory. The always-tenatious Long Beach State provided the opposition. The match lasted five games. UT women and fans refocused after the Beach quietly snuck back into the match winning games three and four.

Freshman Sarah Palmer got her first start for UT and made a strong contribution with 15 digs at the libero position.
